Results identify the source queried and separate recursive answers from authoritative data.
Plain-language guides explain what records mean and why different resolvers may disagree.
The service is designed to answer technical questions without requiring an account or collecting unnecessary personal details.
Why we built it
DNS changes can look correct in one place and stale in another. DNSReach brings several useful views together so website owners, administrators and learners can understand what is being published and what public resolvers currently return.
What the results represent
DNSReach sends standards-based queries to selected public recursive resolvers and, when available, to a domain’s authoritative nameservers. Provider locations on the map describe public network information; they do not claim that each request physically originated at the marker.
The WHOIS Lookup uses RDAP, the structured HTTPS successor to legacy WHOIS, and displays public information returned by the responsible registry or registrar.
Who operates DNSReach
DNSReach is operated by Areebi Consulting. Questions, corrections and responsible technical reports are welcome through the contact page.
